One of the most amazing Brazilian myths is about a mermaid named Iara.

Also called the *Mother of the Waters*, Iara is a beautiful young woman connected to a body
of freshwater fish who would sit on a rock by the river, combing her hair or dozing under the sun.
When she realizes that a man approaches, start to sing gently to lure him.
Once under the spell of the Iara a man would leave anything to live with her underwater forever...
(which was not necessarily a bad thing, as she was pretty and would cater for all needs of her lover
for the rest of his life :-)

The legend of the Iara was one of the usual explanations for the disappearance of those who ventured
alone in the jungle. Iara is blamed for boating accidents, the disappearance of adults and children and
water-related disasters of all sorts. The natives of Amazonia (the region around the Amazonas River in Brazil) never go near lakes or rivers at night for fear of Iara.

This mystic creature is called Anhangua,is a creature from the indigenous folklore from Amazon, it can be found in different shapes, for exemple as a fish, as a man, or even as an armadillo, but the most commum is a white deer with big horns, red eyes and a cross in his head...The Anhangua is a wandering spirit that likes to terrify people, specially the hunters that invade the forest.....before voting please check the img sources....any critique good or bad is appreciated.

The scene was based On this AWESOME illustration that I did!!! Ok, I'm kidding! hahaha
Curupira - Curupira is a (male) mystic indian that protects the animals and trees of the forests. It has red hair (some say it is Fire) and backwards feet to confuse hunters. Hates hunters and lumberjacks. He has a very serious face, but he gets crazy when hunters come to the area.
Boitata - Boitata is a giant fire snake with enormous fiery eyes that crawls over the open fields at night and protect the jungle of hunters. Looking at its eyes blinds people.

What I did here was a fight scene between this two protectors, showing a moment that Curupira is trying to take over the control of the jungle.
He is doing a surprise attack at Boitata's back... This way he doesn't get blind.
(note: I think this never happened before on the legends, but it could happen =D)
(note 2: sorry about any english mistakes)
